So what's happening during NOV & DEC?

Ok, so here's the plan for the last few practices we're gonna have for this year! D:

SYF training comprises of sectionals, watching concerts, carolling...

For carolling, we're gonna learn 10 songs and.... we can hold scores when singing!

We know that the last few practices are gonna be like HELL or even worse, BUT! stay strong and hang in there because we're all in this together yeah?

Please don't pon any of the practices without super valid reason, cuz we're gonna be learning the SYF song which is EXTREMELY IMPT TTM!

Any queries pls ask ur SLs first before heading straight to MsOng yourself k?

Alrighty, that's all.

Feel free to add anymore info if there'e anything missing ya?

CYA SOON!
Victoria

Oh oh hi guys it's Gillian here! Anyways, all sectionals and choir practices will be held in the CHOIR ROOM. Except for 18nov, where Sops and Altos share the same sectional time slot. In this case, we'll update you on which rooms to use (most likely one of the SR and the Choir Room though) But the rest of the other timings, no other sectionals clash so you don't have to worry.

Sunday Pomo practice is highly encouraged because you get to sing the songs with adult singers! But it is not compulsory. But highly encouraged. Yes. Hahaha.

The Movie Marathon will be held on 10dec, Friday. Location is to be confirmed, because we were thinking of having it in a classroom in the school. Can you imagine, one classroom, we push all the tables to the back/side and then we lay out our floor mats, sleeping bags and we bring our own pillows and stuff and watch the movie from there?! So cool right! :D Hehe. Yes. But the school has to approve and open the room for us, so we'll update you guys.

The above schedule is just for you to see on the blog. The one that can be printed out and hung on your door or something, is sent to you via tpjc.net, kudos to Victoria! :D So yes. Head over to tpjc.net and download it okay? And remember to write the dates down somewhere!! But all practices are still tentative, but close to confirmed. So just be alert for any other changes on the way!

As Victoria said, we're all in this together :) A choir is special because it's made up of all our voices. Every practice is important because you get to learn new techniques, brush up on your old, improve on your own singing, learn new songs, correct old mistakes... And each and everyone of you is important :) I know so many practices will make anyone feel sian about coming for practice - don't worry, me and Eliz and pretty much the rest of the Exco is feeling sian about having so many practices too. But let's persevere together okay? Let's look towards that Gold, or Gold w Honors and believe that we can achieve it! Remember the musical we had, and Poland? We achieved success and we managed to get what we wanted because we were determined and passionate about what we were doing. So let's carry this passion forward, and hwaiting!

Love, Gillian! (and the rest of the Exco)
