This is the weekly schedule for this month and next month!
6th August, Friday
NO PRACTICE :D
Condition: Pls pls pls pls pls come up with the spoofing plot/ spoofed lyrics for the musical songs and prepare it best by 11th August (Wednesday) so that we can decide on the final spoofed lyrics to be used in the preparation for the musical on the 13th August (Friday)!
11th August, Wednesday
We will be working on the first half of our concert on 5th Sept,
The songs we will be singing are :
- I'm gonna sing
- Tres Cantos
- Haec Dies
- Terra Tremuit
- Pastime with good company
- Ah! si mon moine voulait danser!
13th August, Friday
2.30pm - 4.00pm : Combined practice with Pasir Ris Crest and Kranji Sec choir for Ah! Si mon and Pastime
4.00pm- 5.30pm : Musical preparation
Songs we are going to sing for the musical:
- Love Changes Everything
- Other Pleasures
- Mermaid song
- Hand me the wine and the dice ( shorter version with dance)
- First man you remember ( Tentative)
We have to spoof and have a confirmed set of lyrics for the above songs if we are spoofing the songs. Pls think of possible lyrics (spoofed version) for the above songs! (:
5.15pm - 6.30pm : Ms Ong will be coming in so we have to present to her what we have prepared
18th August, Wednesday
Similar to 11th August, practice for first half songs
20th August, Friday
Similar to 13th August, combined practice with Kranji and Pasir Ris Crest for Ah! Si mon and Pastime, followed by practice for the musical
25th August, Wednesday
Performance for YOG Poland people
We will be performing the first half songs..
27th August, Friday
No combined with Kranji and Pasir Ris Crest
We will have the full run through of the entire concert
31st August is teacher's day celebration,
So 1st [edited]September may be a school holiday.
If 1st September is a school holiday, there will be no choir practice.
If 1st September is NOT a school holiday, there will be choir practice.
However, there will be an extra practice on either Saturday ( 28th August) or Sunday ( 29th August). The confirmed days are still tentative yeah!
5th September, Sunday
THE DAY!
Performance @ SCAPE warehouse
*Scape is a new building located behind orchard cineleisure.
Details are not yet confirmed, but we may have to go to the venue ourselves.
After the 5th sept performance, we will break for our exam break and MUG HARD :D
For the people whose results are suffering and can only attend choir once a week,
Ms Ong suggested to come for the Wednesday Practice,
Then for Friday perhaps you can study in school until 4pm,
then come and join the choir in the musical preparation until 6.30pm.
That way you can still join the choir in the musical and just miss the combined choir practices with Kranji and Pasir Ris Crest. (:
It's just a suggestion yepx! And if studying in school is not effective and you prefer to go home to study, then its up to you yepx!
