Updates for the next few practices [edited]

hellooo all!
it's your who-is-going-to-step-down-soon secretary here!
just to keep you all updated about whatever miss liu had said during wed's prac.
(some of the timings were wrong, have been edited over. vp.)


Fri 29 May - Prac @ 2.30pm, to prepare for rehearsal in the hall

Mon 1 June - Prac from 9-1pm with the band for Our Shared Dreams

Tues 2 June- We'll prepare to leave for esplanade by 11am, but the bus will leave school @ 12.00pm. ( Lunch to be settled before we leave for esplanade. any special arrangements t.b.c) & we'll depart esplanade @ 7.30pm

Wed 3 June- Depart school for Esplanade @ 7.30am.

The battle's not over yet

I know many are disappointed that we didn't achieve the gold we were aiming for, but considering our circumstances, I am proud of how we held oursleves yesterday, and extremely proud of how much we have matured and grown together. No matter what, we're still a strong choir, and we will do better for the next time we perform, yes?

I appeal more to those who may have come from better choirs. Personally, I'll admit that I have problems with my singing, and I depend alot on the help and advice of those around me. Always do your best, and help the rest of your choirmates. That way, the choir benefits from your experience, and can grow to be the best choir in the world! (lol, sorry, couldn't resist)

Can I also ask a favour from those who took pictures? Please pass them around, so that we can remember the fun times as well.


Admin side....
Update concerning choir practises as well, the practise tomorrow(7 May) is cancelled, and we resume on Friday as per usual. Will be singing Sounds of Joy and Song Da Ge for College day (which is on 16 May), so do listen to the Midis and be ready to sing SOJ again.

The final deadline for Europe trip participants is THIS Friday as well. Please try to convince your parents to let you go, it's really a once in a lifetime opportunity. And this is our chance to win not one, but two golds for the choir.

I'll just end off with a quote from a poem "The Solitary Reaper" by Willaim Wordsworth:

Come the end of this short, short time together, may we always hang on to the music we have learnt, and never stop singing.

Memories...

Hi all, I know you've been waiting a long time for these pictures, and they're finally up! (YAY)

What we've accomplished so far is really unbelieveable, and I'm proud to say that what we've acchieved so much in so little time.

Just alittle update concerning Tuesday: all of you will be excused from morning assembly, please meet in choir room by 7.30, like before.
